The Artist

---

Hi, I'm Thomas Hanusek and I make surreal autobiographical acrylic paintings and digital illustrations about experiences and feelings I cannot put into words.Every painting, text, and illustration constantly serves as raw material to be recycled and evolved into games, art books or bigger paintings. My style is a collage of various objects, symbols and styles, in combinations that are meant to make you look beyond the images themselves and see the deeper connection between them.

I am exploring the deepest corners of my psyche through art, as learning about my own struggles with ADHD, Autism and open heart surgery, teaches me to help others in similar situations.

Through my work, I hope to convey that true connection with the outside world requires an honest connection with oneself. My art teaches you, the audience that everything has it's time and place and there is beauty to be found even in the absurd.
